INTRODUCTION
Nowadays, most people have their own cell phones. We did a ten question survey to 50 people to discover how they use, and what they want. They are all university students.

RESULTS/DISCUSSION
Q1. What company's cell phone do you have?
22 use Docomo's cell phone and 24 use au's cell phone. These 2 company account for 92% of cell phones they have.

Q2. How many times do you send e-mail a day?
32 out of 50 people send e-mail 1~10 times a day and 16 people send it 11~50. There are no people who send e-mail over 50 times a day.

Q3. What is the color of your cell phone.
18 out of 50 people use white one and also 18 people use black one. We found that most people like achromatic color.

Q4. How much do you spend in cell phone charges in a month?
32 out of 50 people spend 5000~9999 yen in a month. 10 out of 50 spend 10000~20000 yen in a month. The other 8 people spend less than 5000 yen. This result is as we expected.

Q5.Who do you mainly call up?
18 out of 50 people answerd "friends", 16 out of 50 people answerd "family" and the other 15 people answerd "lover". We reffirm the importance of cell phone.

Q6. What do you do if someone you don't know calls you up?
Q7. What do you do if someone you don't know calls you up?
Each question produce the same result. 24 out of 50 people answer the phone and the other 26 do not.

Q8. How many times have you changed your cell phone?
This question is failure. It is lacking a time frame.

Q9. Do you use one-segment phone?
42 out of 50 people answerd "no". The result shows that multi-functionality is not always needed.

Q10. Which do you use the most? Phone call or e-mail.
44 out of 50 people answerd "e-mail". So we think cell phone companies should forcus on enhancement of the function of e-mail.

CONCLUSION
From these results, we found that cell phone is closely connected with our daily life. Therefore we think we should use cell phone wisely and also companies should think more carefully about their users.

I enjoyed this survey. Informative yet fun. However, I thought that there was a lot more to discuss from these results.
