The Devastating Fire
On February 28th, the fire broke out and destroyed the Chocolate Factory at Magpie Hill. It was 3:50 am. The Factory located at the corner of Main street and Fudge Drive. Fortunately there was no person in the factory at that time. However no person was injured, it caused the delay in the discovering the fire. Mrs Smith who is the first person to find the disaster said "I was driving to back to home. Suddenly I heard an huge explosion and at the same time the eastern sky flashed like lightning, so I turned to the direction of the explosion and noticed the Factory was burning" The Chocolate Factory had produced the much-like chocolate named "Honey-Chock" since 1977 and also many people living at Magpie Hill had worked there. One of the firefighters who battled the blaze said "I have always liked eating Honey-Chock since I was a kid, so I felt very sad when I was looking a fire and dream of children was extinguishing simultaneously." Acording the police investigation, there is a possibility that it was an arson attuck because they found trace of explosives in the fire-devastated site of the factory.
